CE, CHILE
     The special event station 3G90AA celebrates the 90th anniversary of
     the Radio Club of Chile until Jul 31. QSL via CE3AA.

CN, MOROCCO
     Moroccan amateur radio operators may use the special prefix 5C13
     from July 1-27 to celebrate the 13th anniversary of the crowning of
     Mohammed VI King of Morocco.

E5, SOUTH COOK ISLANDS, OC-013
     Wayne,N6NB (E51YNB), and Carrie,W6TAI (E51TAI), will be active from
     Rarotonga (OC-013) in all modes on all bands from Jul 7-21. They also
     plan to take part in the IARU HF World Championship (July 14/15).

ES, ESTONIA
     Eddie,ES2TT, and Andrew,RN1CW, will show up as ES2012ABCS and ES3/RN1CW
     from Haapsalu Castle (WCA ES-00003) working in CW/SSB/BPSK on 6m-40m
     from Jul 6-8. The las will be uploaded to the WCA E-Log as well.

EU, BELARUS
     The Borisov Amateur Radio Club (EW2WW) celebrates the 910th anniversary
     of Borisov city by using the special event call EV910B in SSB and CW

GW, WALES, EU-005
     The special event station GB10SOTA is activated to celebrate 10 years
     of "Summits on the Air" (SOTA) from Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa, 1085m,
     GW/NW-001, EU-005, WLOTA 0453, Loc IO73xb). Listen for them to be QRV
     on HF, VHF and UHF from the highest mountain in England and Wales until

HP, PANAMA
     Sergio,HP1/IZ6BRN, has returned to Panama. Skeds can be arranged

FP, ST PIERRE ET MIQUELON, NA-032
     Eric,FP/KV1J, plans to hand out some IOTA points in SSB/CW/RTTY/PSK31
     on 160m-6m operating from Miquelon (NA-032, DIFO FP-002, WLOTA 1417,
     Loc GN17) on July 10-17. If the conditions are fine he may also work
     via satellites. His plans include also the IARU HF World Championship.

PA, THE NETHERLANDS
     The special callsign PC100NOM is active from Jul 2-29 to promote the
     100th anniversary of The Netherlands Open Air Museum in Arnhem.
     The operator is Fred,PA0FAW (ISWL PA-11092/WAB-11722), operating in
     CW, SSB and digital modes. QSL via PA0FAW.

PY, BRAZIL
     The special event stations PW7FD (SSB, digital modes) and PQ7FD (CW)
     are working on 40m, 20m, 17m, 15m and 10m until July 30 as a tribute
     to Brazil's Fire Departments. QSL via PS7AB.

SP, POLAND
     Jarek,SQ6OCO/p, activates Mielno Castle (WCA: SP-01236, ZWP: ZLL-03)
     until Jul 10. Listen for him on 7100, 14200 and 28500 kHz.
     QSL via homecall.

W, USA
     The "Original 13 Colonies Special Event" which was announced in the
     last DX Newsletter has been prolonged until July 7.

VE, CANADA
     The special event station CK6S is activated by the Calgary Amateur
     Radio Association to mark the 100th aniversary of the Calgary Stampede
     from July 5-15. QSL via VE6AO. All HAMs in the city of Calgary may use
     the special prefixes CJ6 for VA6 and CK6 for VE6 for the same period.

Awards in Friedrichshafen:
     VP8ORK was awarded the "DXpedition of the Year 2011".
     ZA1TC (Tevfik, TA1HZ) received the "WAEDC 2011 Hero Award".

European trip: Paolo,I2AE, has left for a 11,000 km trip through Northern
     Europe. He plans to activate several WFFs, IOTAs, WCAs and lighthouses.

LoTW: Freddy,F5IRO, uploaded his logs of J28RO, J25DXA and 5X1RO on Jun 26.

DXCC: Following stations are approved for DXCC credit:
     3C6A (2012), 3C0E (2012), 5X1RO (2012), J28RO (2010), J25DXA (2011),
     XW4XR (2012)

ST2AR QRT: After two years and seven months Robert,ST2AR, went QRT with
     138.000 QSOs in the log. He will work in Rome for the next 5-6 years.

SILENT KEY: Richard L. Baldwin,W1RU, holder of the Golden Badge of Honour
     of the DARC, passed away at the age of 92 years on June 21.
     Richard was President of the IARU and the ARRL for many years. During
     this time he was responsible for the preparation of the WARC in 1979,
     where the new bands 30m/17m/12m were allocated to amateur radio.
     During his term as IARU President he was able to give the organization
     a new representative direction.
     Our condolences and sympathy are with his family and friends.
     We do not want to be sad that we lost him, but grateful that we could
     get to know him as a radio friend. We will always keep him in memory.

EU-115, EI/GI/MI, Ireland: Dave,WJ2O, will be on a roundtrip through
     Ireland (EU-115, WLOTA 2484) and Northern Ireland from Jul 8-19.

     Dave will join the IARU HF World Championship as EI/WJ2O/m from Ireland

US Islands: Frandy,N1FJ/p, will be QRV from Three Mile Island (USi NH020,
     not IOTA) from Jul 8-13. This island is located on Lake Winnipesukee
     in Belknap County/New Hampshire. He will work mostly in CW on 15m-40m.

WFF activities
--------------
DLFF: Some members of the clubstation DK0ASP will be active from the
     Nature Reserve Rotwildpark Stuttgart (WFF DLFF-146) on Jul 7/8.
     This will be the first activation of this nature reserve. They will
     be QRV as DL2A with two stations on 20m, 30m and 40m. All QSOs will
     be confirmed with a QSL via bureau.

FFF: The special event station TM7TDF (Tour de France) will be QRV from the
     Parc Regional (FFF-078) on Jul 7/8. They will be active also from the
     mountain Planche des Belles Filles (SOTA F/JU-027) on Jul 6/7.
